Applications to serve on the City’s boards and commissions may be completed online here, downloaded or picked up from the City Manager’s office at City Hall, 501 N. Anderson Street. The City Council will consider applications to fill board and commission vacancies at one of their regular meetings (first and third Mondays of each month). Applicants are required to attend a meeting of the board or commission they have applied for and participate in an interview prior to having their application forwarded to the City Council for consideration.
Applications received for boards and commissions that currently have no vacancies will be held for a period of six months. If a position becomes vacant, the applicant will be contacted to determine if he or she would like their application processed for consideration.
Applications for Reappointment
Current members will be notified by the City Manager's Office prior to their term's expiration. Terms expire on May 31 or December 31. Members will need to apply for reappointment, which can be completed online here.
