Book Barn Used Book SaleThe Book Barn houses a collection of uses books, CDs, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles for sale, donated by community members and the library. The sale is located in the Hal Holmes basement and is open every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month starting January 22nd this year.” This sale is the Friends primary fundraising source to support its mission. The Friends also have two major book sales upstairs in the Hal Holmes Auditorium each year. The Annual Spring Book Sale is Saturday, May 7th and the Annual Fall Book Sale is Saturday, October 15th. Book Club TeaEach April the Friends sponsor a book club tea social with a speaker, fine desserts and teas. The event is held the third Monday in April at the Hal Holmes Community Center, 7-9 pm. This free event is open to all. 2022 tea will be April 11th. Guest author Patricia Cutright. She will be talking about her new book Native Women Changing their Worlds.
