The city's natural gas utility has over 137 miles of distribution mains and over 4,900 customers both in the City and Kittitas County.
City Gas Division staff strive to maintain the existing and provide additional infrastructure at the highest quality of service. The City of Ellensburg Gas Utility is one of only a handful of national public gas utilities to be recognized with a SOAR award (Level Silver) through the American Public Gas Association. The staff in the City Natural Gas Utility is proud to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient source of energy to the City and surrounding area.
