Annual Upstairs Book Sale
The FOL Book Barn used book sale is located in the basement of the Hal Holmes Community Center and houses a collection of used books, CDs, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles for sale, all items have been donated by community members and the library.
The sale is every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month and is the Friends' primary fundraising source to support its mission. The Friends of the Ellensburg Public Library and Hal Holmes Community Center is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing our City library and community center.

Council Conference Room
The next public open house to review Reed Park Master Plan options is scheduled for October 18, 2023. Members of the public are invited to attend this open house on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, City Hall Council Chambers, 501 N Anderson Street, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to review previous versions of the Reed Park Master Plan design options and comment on the new hybrid option as well.
