New Utility Customer Portal Coming Soon!

New Utility Customer Portal Coming Soon

ELLENSBURG, Wash. — The City of Ellensburg is launching a new online utility customer portal that provides residents a way to manage utility usage and payments more effectively. Starting December 11, City utility customers will be able to log in to the new system to pay their bill, track and compare usage, and receive timely information and updates.

“I’m very excited about our new utility billing system,” said Lynne Perrie, City Utility Services Supervisor. “It will give customers what they’ve been asking for: paperless billing, detailed utility bills with comparisons to prior months and one year ago, and an online customer portal that is easy to navigate with useful information.”

The City of Ellensburg has six utilities and processes about 130,000 utility payment transactions each year. The switch to the new system has been a multi-year effort that has required support from multiple City departments.

December’s statement will include instructions on how to access the new online customer portal, and customers will be prompted to reset their password the first time they log in. Utility account numbers will change, so please update the account number on your check or bill-payer payment to ensure accuracy in posting the payment to the correct account. If customers did not previously provide an email address to the City, they will need to create an online account in the new portal. By creating an account, users can sign up to go paperless and set up an autopay by debit or credit card.

“Our staff will be here to work with customers as they adjust to the new utility billing statement, new online customer portal, and setting up their payment methods on the new portal,” Perrie said.

Ways To Pay Your Utility Bill
