Fairytales - June 29-July 5
Fairytales are old, told and retold every generation – the classic tales of princesses, heroes, mischievous tricksters and loads of talking animals. Check out the original tellings or the modern new twist!
Youth Activity: Grab-n-Go Bag with STEM kits related to fairytales – Jack and the Beanstalk & Rapunzel. Curbside Pickups are Tuesday & Wednesday 10-11 & 4-5 in the Hal Holmes parking lot!
Youth Virtual: Creative Castles with Ms. Sasha – Make a castle using items found around your home!
Teen/Adult Virtual: Online Dungeons & Dragons game following the adventures of Jack and his ascent up the beanstalk. Email RJ (woodsr@ci.ellensburg.wa.us) by 6/30 to register or for questions. Space is limited.

Week 2: Historic - July 6-12
Historic stories are from our past and tell how we got to the place where we are in now.
Youth Activity: Grab-n-Go Bag with a Family Tree activity, "a story about me" writing prompt, and a historic map which may lead to treasure! Curbside Pickups are Tuesday & Wednesday 10-11 & 4-5 in the Hal Holmes parking lot!
Youth Virtual: Join Laura Busby, Interpretive Specialist with Washington State Parks, for the story of how the Olmstead family made butter. Bring a small jar, a pint of heavy whipping cream and a bowl of very cold water if you’d like to join in.
Teen Activity: Curbside Grab-n-Go Bag with Local Creature Feature Scavenger Hunt.
Teen/Adult Virtual: A curated collection of some of the best virtual Museum tours both nationally and abroad.

Week 3: What's Your Story? - July 13-19
Autobiographies and biographies tell the stories of people’s lives. WE all have stories to tell about our “one unique life.”
Youth/Teen Activity: Grab-n-Go self-portrait kit. Curbside Pickups are Tuesday & Wednesday 10-11 & 4-5 in the Hal Holmes parking lot!
Youth/Teen Virtual: Gallery One teacher Amy Hall Davison will lead a self-portrait class.
Family/Adult Virtual: StoryCorp - A virtual resource for collecting and sharing stories with interview style questions. Invite someone to share their personal Story about this moment in history using questions provided by us. Here is our helpful guide to participate.

Week 4: Adventure - July 20-26
Buckle the helmet! Strap on that jet pack! Tighten the shoelaces and take a deep breath! It’s about to get wild, spunky and daring!!!
