The Adult Activity Center of Ellensburg provides a drop-in facility for adults 50 years of age and older. Our mission is to provide a focal point in our community for quality recreational, social, health and educational programming. We offer a variety of activities that encourage fun, friendship and socialization in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We encourage you to stop by and see what we have to offer. The Adult Activity publishes a monthly newsletter which includes additional information on activities, classes and tours. If you would like to receive a copy, please call 962-7242. • Activities
  The following activities are held on a weekly basis: Pine Needle Basketry, Arts & Crafts, Bridge, Pinochle, Pool, Aerobic Exercise, Walking Club, Hiking Club, Personal Fitness Training, Line Dance Lessons, CWU Meaningful Connections, Yoga, Oil & Water Color Art lessons, Genealogy and Computer Classes.

  In addition, the Center offers regular classes in Driver Safety Refresher Courses, Casino Trips, Ladies' Night Out events, lecture series on Legal & Financial Guidance, Singles Club, Dinner Club, free Income Tax Return Preparation, and Special Friday Socials to include dances, musical entertainment and seasonal festivity celebrations.

  Our Wellness Program includes: Foot Care, Massage Therapy, Blood Pressure checks, a Dental Hygiene program, Nutrition courses and a lecture series on Healthy Aspects of Aging.

• Trips and Tours
  We offer a wide variety of outings to meet the individual interest and budget, from local day sightseeing tours to North American adventures. A few highlights this fall and winter will include: Oktoberfest in leavenworth, Mill Bay casino, Museum of Flight, NW Carvers Show & Save, Victorian Country Christmas, Christmas Tree Ligthing in Levenworth.

• Hours of Operation
  The Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The building is available to rent on weekends and evenings (a small fee applies). Please contact the Center for rental rates and availability.
