Parks and Open Spaces
The City of Ellensburg features 20 parks which includes over 230 acres of developed regional, community, neighborhood, and pocket parks. These parks feature a number of amenities ranging from athletic fields to walking trails to ponds which provide residents variety of passive and active recreational opportunities.

Field Reservation Fees
Athletic fields are available for rental to interested groups and individuals. Contact the Parks and Recreation Department for more information, please call (509) 962-8639.

Picnic Shelters
Picnic Shelters are available for rental to interested groups and individuals. Picnic Shelter rental fee is contingent on the events anticipated attendance. Rentals are available in four hour increments, those wishing to rent a shelter for periods of time longer than four hours will be billed hourly each additional hour. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm current picnic shelter rental rates. Phone: (509) 962-7211. The City of Ellensburg provides park facilities for the enjoyment and benefit of all community residents and visitors. We ask your cooperation in following these rules and regulations to ensure that everyone utilizing City parks has the opportunity of a positive experiences.
