NEW ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS
A NOTE ABOUT POTLUCKS
In order to be more thoughtful of different dietary needs and food allergies, we are providing a list of suggested food dishes to bring with you to our potlucks. The AAC will still be providing the main course for potlucks and we will not be providing all of the food for our lunch and a movie, health forum, and other special events.

RECOMMENDED TO BRING: fresh fruits and vegetables, green salads with dressing on the side, breads, muffins, desserts, cheese and crackers, or chips

RECOMMENDED NOT TO BRING: jellos, eggs, any mayonnaise-based salad (i.e., macaroni salad, potato salad, chicken salad, etc.), or toothpicks
SENIOR LOUNGE

The Adult Activity Center sponsors the "Senior Lounge" at the Kittitas County Fair, which runs Thursday, September 3 - Monday September 7, 2015. The lounge is a welcoming, air-conditioned environment, with soft cushion chairs for seniors to kick up their feet and relax. We serve beverages and cookies. We'll need volunteers! Volunteer shifts are in two-hour increments from morning to early evening, with two volunteers per shift. You will receive a FREE fair pass for the day you volunteer. You also have the opportunity to purchase an Adult Activity Center shirt for $15 to wear during your volunteer shift. We will begin volunteer sign-ups in August. Please call the AAC at (509) 962-7242.
